Thisted Insurance goes live

Thisted Insurance has gone live with their new website made in Umbraco CMS. The site is rather simple and is a standard Umbraco website. However, I have had to develop a custom component to calculate the response time of their online contact forms and I have used Umbraco’s Contour forms system to build some complicated forms. The design is made by 7nord and is, in my opinion, fresh and light and fits well to the customer.

NEW JQuery Modal Window plugin

Jesper Holm Damgaard and myself have been working on a new version of my old jQuery modal block plugin for a long time, which is used in my jQuery Light View . The new version is coded from scratch and we’ve optimized the code throughout. It can do everything the old could, only better and more robust manner.

jQuery Lightview 2.0 imminent

In march 2009 I developed version 1.0 of my Light View an since then it has been corrected and improved several times and is now in a solid version 1.5. On the drawing board, I am writing a major update of the gallery, which means you can have a variable size description of the description area. This might not mean anything to you if you have not yet seen the plugin in action. Take a look at the Plugin page here on my blog to see more examples. I have chosen to share my plugin so everyone can enjoy and use it. You can download and use the plugin as you like.

Javascript jQuery form validation

Client side validation of forms is often something something we struggle with in Dynamicweb. Dynamicweb default form validation has one option and that is: should the box be filled out or not. With the plugin I have written, we get some more opportunities to validate our forms. My jQuery form validation plugin, is based on our needs in Dyanmicweb, but it can easily be used for other html forms as well.
